Catalog description

This course provides an overview of theories and research on biological, psychological, and social aspects of women's lives and experiences, as well as a critical exploration of women's historical under-representation and marginalization within psychology. Topics include gender roles and stereotypes, the development of gender identities, gender similarities and differences, women's work and well-being. Prerequisite: PSY 100 ; sophomore standing. Offered Annually.
