In this course, students explore foundational questions in political theory, examining how societies understand concepts like justice, freedom, equality, and human rights. Students engage with influential texts, applying philosophical inquiry to analyze and interpret complex ideas within historical contexts. By developing skills in critical analysis and argument evaluation, this course prepares students to engage more deeply in the study of politics, and apply these skills as active participants in the wider social world.
