Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive review of nuclear medicine principles while examining professional practice across clinical settings. Students analyze procedures, evaluate clinical decision-making, and integrate knowledge in physics, radiopharmacy, instrumentation, radiation safety, and patient care. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, comparative practice analysis, and structured board examination preparation. Prerequisite: admission to the NMT Program; assignment to a clinical internship site. Offered Annually.
