Catalog description
This course examines the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of human organ systems as they relate to diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine. Emphasis is placed on clinical indications, standard procedures, protocol application, image quality evaluation, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative imaging data. Prerequisite: admission to the NMT Program; assignment to a clinical internship site. Offered Annually.
