Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the study of topological spaces and their structure-preserving (i.e., continuous) functions. Students develop concepts from point-set topology including methods of construction of topological spaces, continuity, connectedness, compactness, and Hausdorff condition. Prerequisite: grade of "C" or better in MTH 225 or CS 225 , MTH 308 , and MTH 310 . Offered Occasionally.
