This course is a rigorous approach to algebraic systems including the study of groups, rings, integral domains, and fields with applications to polynomials. Prerequisite: grade of "C" or better in MTH 225 or CS 225 ; grade of "C" or better in MTH 308 . Offered Spring - Odd Numbered Years.
