Catalog description

This course focuses on the historical roots of pressing current issues with global implications. Students engage with such transnational topics as climate change, pollution, food insecurity, healthcare, inequality, corruption, violence, or human migration. Students learn to think historically about complex challenges, preparing them to address problems in their communities and future careers. This class helps students develop a sense of who they are as global citizens. CGER CP-CW Civics & Perspective: Cultures of Our World. Offered Occasionally.
