Capstone Seminar in Geography and Environmental Science

Catalog description

This seminar-style course is designed to prepare students for graduate school and/or a career in geography and environmental science. This course covers the basic concepts of interviewing, cover letter and resume development, portfolios, and oral and written communication. Guest speakers discuss graduate and career opportunities available to geography and environmental science majors. Students are expected to actively participate in the assessment of their major and their programmatic learning outcomes. Prerequisite: GEO 305 ; senior standing. Offered Fall, Spring.
