Catalog description

This lecture/discussion-based course is designed to thoroughly review and analyze the relevant and current research/industrial trends within kinesiology. Significant emphasis is given toward the student learning how to present, critique, and defend research from a scientific perspective. Selected topics include content that is relevant to both students seeking to attain jobs in the research field or further education within the fitness realm and pre-professional careers. Students are encouraged to take this course near the end of their careers as undergraduate students in the exercise and sport science major-kinesiology emphasis. Prerequisite: declared major in exercise and sport science - kinesiology; junior standing. Offered Fall, Spring.
