This introductory course in professional and technical writing explores how writing mediates knowledge, values, and action in both social and organizational contexts. Students investigate key concepts and enduring questions in the field, drawing from historical and theoretical perspectives to inform contemporary writing practices. The course also explores ethical considerations and the impact of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence on writing practices. Prerequisite: ENG 110 ; sophomore standing.
