Catalog description

Hemodynamics of the arterial and venous vasculature are discussed. Lower extremity venous normal and abnormal are discussed. Extracranial and intracranial cerebrovascular anatomy, normal and abnormal are discussed. Students become familiar with the clinical symptoms and specific ultrasound protocols for normal and abnormal cases associated with lower extremity venous and cerebrovascular disease. Prerequisite: admission to Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Offered Fall.
