Catalog description

This course provides an overview of health communication in research, industry, and practice. Students explore the central role that communication plays in health care delivery, health promotion, disease prevention, risk communication, media and mass communication, and technology. Students learn to analyze and respond to a variety of health-related messages using multiple perspectives. Prerequisite: CST 110 . Offered Annually.
