Catalog description

In this course students engage in laboratory research under the direction and supervision of a member of the chemistry departmental staff. A written or oral report is required. Students using this course to satisfy the elective laboratory requirement in the Chemistry major with American Chemical Society (ACS) certification must prepare a well-written, comprehensive, and well-documented research report following ACS guidelines. Repeatable for credit - maximum six credits. Consent of instructor. Offered Fall, Spring, Summer.
