Catalog description

This course is a study of quantum mechanical models of matter. Topics include particle/wave duality of light and matter; translational, rotational, vibrational, and electronic energies; physical interpretations of wavefunctions; atomic and molecular spectroscopy; quantum mechanical models of molecular structure and bonding; and other special topics. Prerequisite: CHM 309 . Offered Spring.
