Catalog description
Students will engage in hands-on undergraduate research from a range of disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives, including literature reviews, gathering and analyzing data, and disseminating results. Research approaches may include archival work; oral history / ethnographic interviews; social science methods and statistics; literary and cultural analysis; policy and program evaluation; and feminist, queer, trans, and intersectional methodologies. High Impact Practice course. Variable content. Course is repeatable for credit if topics differ; may be taken 2 times for a total of 6 credits. REC: WOST 241 or WOST 201 Spring.
