This course introduces students to interpersonal communication and use of information technologies in healthcare. These skills and technologies are critical to the development of therapeutic relationships with patients and the interprofessional healthcare team. Legal and ethical issues related to health information technology and health information exchanges will be examined. P: Admission to the Traditional Nursing Major Spring.
