Catalog description

Medical Microbiology laboratory provides students interested in healthcare professions and biomedical science with opportunities to learn and apply laboratory concepts and techniques to identify microbes of clinical concern according to American Society of Microbiology safety guidelines. Bacteria, fungi and parasites of clinical concern will be emphasized. P: HUM BIOL 323 or concurrent enrollment AND CHEM 207 or concurrent enrollment Spring.
