Catalog description
Students in this course will participate in and help shape a collaborative historical research project defined and guided by the instructor. Over the course of the semester, students will collaborate to develop a research question; conduct a literature review; and gather and analyze historical evidence—including, but not limited to, conducting oral history interviews, developing a community archive, and/or locating and analyzing other primary source materials. Finally, they will disseminate their findings through a research paper, academic poster presentation, or other methods. Course is repeatable for credit; may be taken 2 times for a total of 6 credits. P: HISTORY 290 or Consent of Instructor Spring.
