Catalog description

An introduction to parallel and distributed computing using Python. Topics include synchronous and asynchronous programming, parallelism, distributed applications with Celery, and Python applications in cloud environments and HPC clusters. Students will gain practical experience developing, testing, and debugging distributed applications for scalable computing. P: COMP SCI 351 and COMP SCI 353 with at least C grades Spring.
