Catalog description

This course actively engages students in the process of program planning and evaluation. Student teams will work to assess community needs and resources of a population of interest and plan a health education or health promotion program. Professional literature and data collection will be used in the assessment process. Development of a program evaluation will be part of the process. Responsibilities and competencies of a health education specialist will be emphasized in all phases of this project. P: CHE 310 . REC: CHE 320 Spring.
