Catalog description
This is a service learning course working in the community that provides free tax preparation for students, low income individuals and families, and the elderly, in conjunction with the IRS. Students apply their knowledge of tax law to the preparation and e-filing of advanced income tax returns. Advanced students also review the work of undergraduate preparers, and assist in the supervision and training of undergraduate preparers. This course is graded pass/no pass only. P: ACCTG 410 and ACCTG 413 , and an overall minimum GPA of 2.5 Spring.
