Catalog description

This course covers typical and atypical speech sound development, assessment and differential diagnosis of speech sound disorders (SSDs), and evidence-based treatment planning. Students will explore cleft lip/palate and velopharyngeal insufficiency (VPI), and demonstrate core clinical skills including oral mechanism exams, sound discrimination, and elicitation techniques.
