The course will concentrate on the social, ethical, and gender challenges posed to Judaism and the range of Jewish responses on topics such as the role of gender as religious feminism, ordination of women as rabbis and cantors, same-sex marriage, divorce refusal, abortion, organ donation and transplantation.
