Conspiracy theories have a long and storied history in politics. While not all conspiracies are oriented towards government and politics, the vast majority of them are. This course will explore the origins of political conspiracy theories, examine the differences between conspiracy theories and actual conspiracies, and look at the impact of several of the most wide-reaching conspiracy theories in the past century.
