Catalog description

This course examines the economic forces that shape health care markets and health-related outcomes. You will explore how government intervention, health insurance structures, and provider incentives influence health care costs, access, and the behaviors of individuals. By the end of the course, you will be able to evaluate solutions informed by your own analyses of health economics research and health policy, as well as understand the impact of policy on financial decision-making within healthcare markets.
