Catalog description

This class will guide you in understanding a wide range of lifetime activities, including rhythms and dance, adventure education, swimming, yoga, and outdoor pursuits such as hiking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. You will be developing the skills and confidence to plan, implement, and adapt instruction across these activities while aligning lessons with SHAPE America standards. Additionally, the course will encourage you to think critically about how lifetime activities foster creativity, resilience, social-emotional learning, and lifelong engagement in physical activity through your own participation.
