This course examines legal implications at the intersection of sustainability and business law. It covers how sustainability relates to areas like corporate governance, ethics, contracts, employment, torts, criminal law, commercial regulations, consumer law, international law, tax, and intellectual property. Students learn to assess a company's environmental, social, and human rights impacts. The course explores the challenges of regulating business impacts and evaluates the effectiveness of different corporate sustainability approaches.
