Catalog description

This course equips students with essential knowledge and skills to enhance job-site safety. Students will explore the role of OSHA in promoting workplace safety, including a thorough understanding of the General Duty Clause and 1926 CFR Subpart C. The course covers hazard recognition and risk assessment techniques while identifying critical high-hazard areas, such as falls, electrical hazards, and heavy equipment safety. Participants will gain hands-on experience using personal protective equipment, following proper safety procedures, and implementing effective emergency protocols. Upon completing the course, students will receive their OSHA 30 card.
