Catalog description

This course is designed to provide skills to enhance the success of the practical nurse student. It will include study and test-taking skills, time and stress management, goal setting, social and cultural awareness skills, written communication, an introduction to critical thinking and the nursing process, APA format, review of PN policies and procedures, and learning in a hybrid/online format.
