Catalog description

This course is designed to develop students' understanding of fundamental algebraic concepts while providing additional support through a corequisite learning model. The primary focus is on key topics such as Equations and Inequalities; Functions and Graphs; Polynomial and Rational Functions; Exponential and Logarithmic Functions; Systems of Equations and Inequalities; Matrices and Determinants. The corequisite component integrates just-in-time support to reinforce essential prerequisite skills, ensuring students gain the confidence and knowledge to successfully master college-level algebra. This approach is ideal for students needing extra guidance while working through the standard curriculum, offering real-time remediation and contextualized practice.
