Catalog description
In this course students continue their study of current manufacturing processes & production concepts. During the course the Federally-endorsed and national-endorsed standards required in industry and production are explored. The emphasis is placed on Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing principles, communication skills, an overview of Cause and Effect of equipment failure and how to apply the 8 Pillars of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology.
