Catalog description

This course introduces computer-aided drafting (CAD). AutoCAD is used to set up drawings and construct lines, circles, arcs, other shapes, geometric constructions, and text. This course introduces drafting standards used for drawings with AutoCAD. Included are dimensioning, blocks, elevations, floor plans, construction drawings, standards for symbols and abbreviations, and printing.
