Catalog description

This course provides advanced instruction and field application in grading, dozer, and excavator operations. Students will develop the ability to establish and verify grades, control earthmoving operations to design specifications, and perform efficient excavation using dozers and hydraulic excavators. Emphasis is placed on grade staking, precision excavation, soil balance, and field coordination to meet project tolerances. Students will demonstrate mastery through applied performance tasks replicating industry-level grading and excavation scenarios.
