Catalog description

This course provides hands-on experience in preparing, inspecting, and operating heavy equipment and utility tractors safely and effectively. Students will perform prestart inspections, identify mechanical and hydraulic system issues, and demonstrate proper start-up, operation, and shutdown procedures. Emphasis is placed on applying preventive maintenance practices, evaluating equipment condition, and developing the operational discipline required for efficient and safe jobsite performance.
