Catalog description

This course provides foundational knowledge of heavy equipment operation within the construction and mining industries. Students will explore classifications, components, and attachments of various types of equipment, while learning the safety procedures and professional expectations required for operating in and around active worksites. Emphasis is placed on applying safe operating practices, understanding equipment capabilities, and demonstrating awareness of industry standards for heavy equipment operations.
