Catalog description
This course provides students with a foundation in electrical principles and circuit analysis as applied to electric power distribution. Topics include atomic structure, voltage, current, resistance, and power relationships, as well as Ohm’s law and Kirchhoff’s laws. Students will study series, parallel, and combination circuits, electrical measurements, and safe practices for working with energized systems.
