Catalog description

This course focuses on electrical installation techniques, safety procedures, and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E requirements. Students will gain hands-on experience in performing conduit bending, conductor installation, and applying NFPA 70E guidelines. This course serves as the lab component for ELE 130 that covers feeder/branch circuit wiring methods, raceway and box fill calculations, distribution equipment components, grounding and bonding requirements, and service calculations per NEC.
