Catalog description
An introduction to inorganic chemistry with emphasis on atomic structure, molecular bonding and structure, the periodic table, kinetic theory, changes of state, solutions and concentrations, chemical reactions and oxidation reduction, and fundamental organic chemistry. Prerequisite: CHM 110 General Chemistry or high school chemistry with a grade of “C” or better within the past 5 years, and MTH101 Intermediate Algebra with a grade of “C” or better or a math ACT score of 21 or better within the past 5 years. MTH112 College Algebra can be taken concurrently
