Catalog description

This course is the first of two courses which study the electrical and electronic characteristics of typical aircraft electrical instrument systems, communications systems and navigation systems. Students will learn the primary system characteristics and interconnection requirements of typical avionics systems. Students will learn about radio operation and communication theory, VOR, ADF, ELT and other navigation systems.
