Catalog description

This course introduces students to the essential components of automation controls and sensors used in building automation systems. Topics include the operation, configuration, and troubleshooting of sensors, actuators, and controllers for HVAC, lighting, and security systems. Students will gain practical skills in control circuit configuration and calibration, as well as the application of control theory to create automated systems. By the end of this course, students will be equipped to analyze and optimize various control strategies to enhance building efficiency.
