This course provides students with an introduction to data literacy and quantitative skills. These skills are prerequisites for data-driven fields of study, professional success, and everyday life. In this course, data literacy is defined as “to understand, explore, and communicate with data”. This course provides students the opportunity to learn through hands on experience with data and will help students share information about people, places, things, events, and phenomena, and answer questions about the world around us.
