Sustainable Development and the Triple Bottom Line

Catalog description
This course will focus on the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies and applications specific to renewable portfolio management, energy conservation, water policy, and waste treatment that support socially responsible economic development business and government initiatives in the United States and other nations. The course will identify and assess the development and impact of Best Practices and Lessons Learned by utilities, local and regional government agencies and businesses in the United States and other 'developed' nations that could be leveraged and applied to international business growth in other nations, especially those experiencing economic and environmental transitions in the 'flat world' that link economic and environmental policies and practices.
