Catalog description

This course focuses on global ethics of science and technology in relationship to society, including human relations to and situated within our natural environment. Science is understood to concern empirical and theoretical ways of understanding from across the world. The course situates such in their contemporary social and historical context, analyzing technologies, methodologies, and epistemologies, or ways of knowing, in relationship to value systems.
