Catalog description
This course introduces you to the study of development across all childhood ages. You will examine the main domains of development, which include emotional/social, physical, and cognitive/language development, and how contextual factors such as culture, gender, and race influence these domains. This course introduces the history, literature, and methodology of the study of children and adolescents from developmental perspectives. Critical reading and writing are required.
