Catalog description

This course introduces students to the distinct ways in which people suffer from addictions. It explores the underlying genetic, neurophysiological, behavioral, cognitive, spiritual, and social factors that influence how we can become addicted to substances or processes and their treatments. This course is offered occasionally, and meets the advanced topic course requirement for the Psychology major.
