Catalog description
This course is an advanced undergraduate seminar exploring the neurobiological foundations and complexities of addiction and addictive behaviors. Designed for students with prior coursework in neuroscience or biology, this course offers a comprehensive examination of the psychological, clinical-pathological, pharmacological, and neuroanatomical underpinnings of addiction across both animal models and human research. Prerequisites: NEUR 241 or BIOL 336 or consent of the instructor.
