Catalog description

This is the required orientation seminar for students planning to study abroad on a Wheaton-run international semester program. The course focuses on developing attitudes, knowledge, and skills related to intercultural competency. Students prepare to maximize learning during the semester abroad and to engage others in any cross-cultural or diverse context in a meaningful and respectful manner. Students are required to enroll as a cohort in the semester before the program.
