Catalog description

Everyone wants to be happy; the pursuit of happiness is even written into one of the U.S.'s founding documents. The aim of this course is to draw upon the best of contemporary scientific studies of happiness—along with related concepts like joy, meaning in life, well-being, flourishing, the good life, and so forth—with the guidance of scripturally-informed theological and philosophical reflection, so as to arrive at some firm and lasting conclusions on what happiness is and how to pursue it.
