Catalog description

This course offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary exploration of the complex interplay between the Holocaust and the establishment of the modern State of Israel. We will analyze the historical, cultural, and moral implications of these two interconnected narratives and seek to foster a deeper understanding of the events that have shaped contemporary Jewish identity and the broader geopolitical landscape—a landscape that has been profoundly affected by the Holocaust, or _Shoah_.
