Catalog description

The study of the major mental disorders as defined by the DSM including an introduction to the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, appropriate psychopharmacological interventions, biological bases of behavior, and spiritual dimensions of these disorders. Explores the impact of culture and emerging technologies on the treatment of individuals and groups. Prerequisites: CMHC student.
